Description of Requirements:

CONSTRUCTION OF PROPOSED YOUTH CENTRE IN BARAWE

SHAQODOON is funding a construction of proposed youth centre in Barawe. Shaqodoon therefore advertises for expression of interest from eligible and suitably qualified construction companies to provide the following services:

Construction of PRELIMNARIES / MAIN OFFICE BUILDING/ MULTIPURPOSE HALL/ EXTERNAL WORKS/ PROVISIONAL SUM in Barawe.

The work includes excavation, site preparation, concrete work, compaction, form work, reinforcement, wall and roof construction, and supply of construction materials.

Eligibility

Eligible Contractors must meet the following qualification criteria. Please submit the following documentation. Note only companies that meets the eligibility criteria will be invited to the tender phase.:

a)     Valid certificate of registration by the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Housing

b)     Registration at the Barawe Municipal Authority / Current operational Business License.

c)     Established office and/or construction yard in Barawe (or demonstrated access to the same)

d)     Experience with construction works of a similar nature and magnitude.

e)     Complete profile of company should be provided including CVs Engineers for construction.

f)       NAME THREE REFEREES, Including position, phone number, and email address. Who can confirm service provided to them, and your qualification on similar jobs preferable in Barawe?

g)     Confirmation and evidence that the company is able pre-finance up to 30% of the project.

Eligible vendors may be required to attend an in-country pre-bid meeting and site visit as part of the requirement for participating in the tender process.

Vendors must submit a signed and stamped requested document, no later than 18th February 2023 to the attention of Khadra Issak on jobs@shaqodoon.org. indicating their intention to participate in the tender.
